Hermann gave him a dubious look back. It was red and pink, a bit nauseating to look at after combing display shelves for Newton's gift. ..Which was wrapped slightly more sensibly- white paper with pale pink and gold hearts.
"You're sure about that are you?"
Really, he just hoped it wasn't anything inappropriate for their public setting. But Newton knew better than that now, surely.
He skimmed the menu for something to stand out to him. Having sampled most of it already, it came down to ordering one of his two favorites or going with something a bit different. By the time their drinks arrived, he'd decided on the schnitzel.
"Hm, I confess I'd like if you opened yours second."
