"Yes," Hermann shivered, looking over the bay where Trespasser had emerged. "Rather disconcerting really."

But the day was otherwise lovely, clear skies and calm waters. He breathed into his scarf and looked out at the other coast, squeezing Newton's hand.

"Though it is nice to see these places as they were before they were ruined. This world isn't a perfect replica of course, but near enough. Unheard of for anyone to be living or walking here in ours. I do miss that sense of unity the world had while we faced a common enemy, however.. At least for awhile."
